Aquamarine Stone (Beruj)

Aquamarine (Beruj in hindi) is a light blue gemstone from Beryl mineral family. It is birthstone for March and is known to bring good health, leadership and peace in married life. The name "Aquamarine" comes from sea as its color looks like ocean water, ranging from pale blue to greenish-blue. It has a hardness of 7.5 to 8 on Mohs scale, making it strong and durable. Aquamarine is found in granite rocks and hot water vents deep inside the earth. Some stones are heated to improve their color, but many people prefer natural ones.
