Refund policy

Mewar Gem Art follows a simple and transparent return and replacement policy.

General Conditions

  • Items must be unused and in original condition. Used items will not be accepted.
  • Damaged products due to misuse are not eligible.
  • Our team will inspect the item before accepting any return or replacement.
  • You must return the product with the original certificate, invoice, packaging, lab reports, discount coupons, etc.

Loose Precious Gemstones

Return allowed within 10 days from the date you receive the product.

  • Full refund after deducting:
  • Shipping charges
    • GST
    • Certificate charges
    • Payment gateway charges
    • Service charges (₹300 per parcel)
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping. If you want us to arrange pickup, charges will apply.
  • Advance booking amount for COD is non-refundable, but can be used as store credit.

Loose Semi-Precious Gemstones

  • Non-returnable
  • You will get 70% store credit (valid for 6 months).

Rudraksha (with or without jewelry)

  • Non-returnable

Moissanite

  • Return policy applies only for RBC shapes. No return on fancy shapes.
  • Returns accepted after inspection only.
  • Damaged Moissanite is not returnable.
  • If eligible, you’ll get 70% store credit within 10 days.

Precious Stone Jewelry

  • Up to 70% of stone value will be refunded after inspection.
  • Deductions include:
    • Making charges, wastage, hallmark, GST & service charges (on gold jewelry)
    • Full amount for other metals
    • Certificate & engraving charges
  • Applies within 7 days of delivery.

Semi-Precious Stone Jewelry

  • Only the gold metal amount will be refunded.

Navratna (Miniature Gems) Jewelry

  • Non-returnable

Birthstone Jewelry

  • Non-returnable

Bracelets

  • Non-returnable

Important Notes

  • Gold jewelry return is calculated on gross weight.
  • No extra charges for handling, insurance, or security.
  • Returns are processed within 7–10 working days after we receive the product.
  • Refund may take additional time to reflect in your bank.
  • No returns after 3 days for any other product.
  • No international returns accepted.

Refund Methods

  • Online Payments (via gateway): Payment gateway charges will be deducted.
  • COD Refunds: Processed through Bank Transfer or UPI.
  • NEFT/IMPS Payments: Refund will be made through NEFT/IMPS. We will contact you for your account details.
  • For exchange, price difference must be paid before we ship the new item.
  • Refund/store credit is based on current market value or original price, whichever is lower.

Export Orders (Outside India)

  • No returns accepted for international orders.
  • Export possible only if:
    • Full payment is received in foreign currency
    • Payment gateway and currency conversion charges are paid by the customer
    • Shipping address is from the same country as the transaction
  • Export starts only after receiving full payment.
  • If you cancel before shipment: Refund will be given after deducting:
    • Payment gateway charges
    • Currency conversion charges
    • Service charges ($50)
  • Refund may take at least 25 working days

FAQs – Return & Replacement

1. When does the return period begin?

From the day you receive the product (based on delivery records).

2. I ordered 2 loose gems but want to return 1. Can I?

Yes. Return it within 10 days. After inspection, we’ll issue store credit or refund.

3. I lost the certificate and packaging. Can I return it?

Return usually requires full documents. Without them, you may get partial credit. Please contact us.

4. Can I return a gemstone fixed in a ring?

We don't accept returns for customized jewelry made outside Mewar Gem Art. But we may evaluate it under special conditions. Please contact customer care.

5. How do I send the product back?

  • Do not write “Mewar Gem Art,” gemstones, or jewelry on the parcel
    Write sender name as Awesome Arts to avoid theft.
  • Raise a return request and get return approval.
  • Send all original documents, certificates, invoices, etc.
  • Pack carefully and send through a trusted courier with transit insurance.
  • Recommended couriers: DTDC, Professional, Delhivery, India Post
  • Customer bears the return risk and charges.
  • Some customers mention product as “Artificial Jewelry” or “Astrological Product” (at their own risk).
