Chuni Stone

Chuni stone is the Bengali name for ruby, also known as manik stone or kempu. It is a precious deep red gemstone that belongs to corundum mineral family. Often called the “King of Gemstones” Ruby has a hardness of 9 on mohs scale, which makes it very durable for jewelry. Because of its rich color and shine, it is widely used in rings, pendants and other ornaments. In Vedic astrology, Chuni gemstone is mainly worn to strengthen influence of Sun and is believed to support confidence, authority and career growth.
