Basra Pearl (Basra Ka Moti)

Basra Pearl, also known as Basre ka Moti, is one of most precious varieties of natural pearl gemstones that originally came from basra region of Persian Gulf. In the early 19th century, marine ecosystem of this region became depleted, which greatly reduced natural production of pearls. Because of this, Basra pearl stone became extremely rare and valuable.
